The scholarship allows a master’s level program (s) in the field of Business taught at the University of Leeds. This scholarship is open to deserving international students who are willing to step into the international business market.
The University of Leeds is a public research university in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was established in 1874 as the Yorkshire College of Science. In 1884 it merged with the Leeds School of Medicine and was renamed Yorkshire College.

Eligibility Criteria
Scholarships will be awarded to particularly deserving applicants to Business Masters programs in 2024/25: These awards are open to all international applicants.
To be considered for the scholarship you must:
Be classified as an International student for fee purposes. Have applied for an eligible Business Masters program for 2024/2025.
Be a self-funding student. Demonstrate an excellent academic track record, and be predicted to achieve or have achieved a Bachelor’s degree with a 2:1 (Hons) or equivalent
Show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities
Demonstrate the potential to contribute to the social and cultural diversity of our master’s programs and student community.
Scholarship Benefits:
A 50% fee reduction will be offered to deserving international applicants (including the EU).

Your application must include the following:
- A copy of your degree certificate and transcript, or a partial transcript if you’re still studying
- A personal statement (please read the guidance note on personal statements at the bottom of this page)
- Contact details for two academic references (please read the guidance note on references at the bottom of this page)
- An up-to-date CV
- Your approved English language test* (if applicable)
- A letter of sponsorship, if you need one.
- CAS, visa, and BRP – International students that have previously studied in the UK on a student or Tier 4 visa (where applicable).

How To Apply
You will be automatically considered for a Business School International Excellence Scholarship when we review your application for your Masters’s course*. You are not required to make a separate scholarship application.
We allocate scholarships throughout the application cycle in line with our staged admissions.
Successful applicants can expect to be notified of their scholarship within two weeks of the ‘decision by’ deadline for the stage they applied in, as stated on the How to Apply page. Successful applicants must accept their scholarship within two weeks of receiving the scholarship offer.
